Early this year, Jet Li visited Bhutan and Nepal for a retreat. During his journey in Nepal, he visited Asura Cave and Yanglesho Cave which are located in the Southern area of Kathmandu Valley on the road to Pharping. These are places where Guru Rinpoche – Padmasambhava achieved the state of Mahamudra.
He went to Nepal for the same purpose and visited a place where Guru Rinpoche, Padmasambhava practiced a thousand years ago. In this journey he met up with 4-5 teachers individually and went into retreat in 2 different place for 7 days.
The most memorable part of this journey was that he saw double rainbows at the end of his retreat, the lamas told him that they have not seen a double rainbow for 15 years. Mr. Li felt it must be an auspicious sign and was really excited the moment he saw it. The experience could not be described with words according to Jet.
Jet has more than 20 teachers who taught him so far. He is deeply grateful for all their efforts in leading him through different stages in life so far. He will continue to move forward in meditation and hope to help others along the way as well.
